US news channel Fox News may have bitten off more than they could chew when they described the ongoing tour by Pope Francis in Kenya (with a schedule trip to Uganda starting on Friday, November 27) as a visit to ‘war torn Africa’.
Kenyans proceeded to look outside, see a peaceful African country that isn’t torn by war and then catch feelings with force. Of course the always vocal Kenyans on Twitter were not about to stay silent.
Here are the best reactions to the controversial statement that Fox News made this week.
#SomeoneTellFoxNews that idiot reporter is a clear manifestation on how ignorant and half baked their reporters are.

This is not the first time that an American media house has suffered
the wrath of Kenyans on social media. In the days running up to the
visit by US President Barack Obama to Kenya, CNN called the country a
hotbed of terror. The outcry from Kenyans against CNN’s statements caused the news network to apologize following a meeting between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Tony Maddox, CNN’s Global Executive Vice President and Managing Director.
Uhuru publicly criticised CNN for their description of Kenya.
