This is an inside view of the throne, beautifully patterned for the Ooni of Ife. The king has got some taste. After watching so many Nollywood movies about kings and royalties, I kind of pictured it to be a place where there are rurally made calabash, animal parts gotten from hunting conquest, a weird looking staff of authority, lowly placed sits for the high chiefs, etc. But this is a breathe of fresh air.
Kudos to the team that put this together. I heard from Stella that everything here is made in Nigeria. That is the way to go. I am already liking this king o. The youth in him is definitely playing out.
